# How to Remove Credit Card

> Easily manage your payment methods by removing your credit card from your account. Follow these simple steps to update your payment preferences.

        Open your [Oculus Proxies dashboard](https://oculusproxies.com/dashboard) and navigate to **My Account** Settings.

        In **My Account** Settings, locate the credit card you want to remove, click the three dots, and select **Remove payment method**.

  <Accordion title="Why can't i delete my credit card?">

      <Step title="Deletion Error">
        If you receive a **Failed to delete** error, it means the credit card is linked to an active subscription and must be changed before removal.

        Go to [Subscriptions and Payments](https://oculusproxies.com/dashboard/page/account/section/active), select the proxy plan associated with the card, and click Manage Subscription.
